About The Event
World Book Night was first celebrated in the UK and Ireland in 2011. April 23rd is the UNESCO International Day of the Book and also, probably, the birth and death date of William Shakespeare.
WBN brings people together to celebrate the difference that reading makes to people's lives, and to inspire others to read more. So please come and join us tonight for an evening of book sharing, book swapping and book quizzing.
Enjoy a little cheese & wine, then take home something new to read and pass on...
