About The Event
When VE Day dawns on 8th May 2020 it will be 75 years since the guns fell silent at the end of war in Europe.
The 75th anniversary will provide an opportunity to reflect on the enormous sacrifice, courage and determination of those who gave so much to ensure we all enjoy the freedom we have today.
During the day there will be a number of events of commemoration, culminating in a street party with stalls and games for all ages, organised by village groups.
It will be Hathern Together at its best.
